The Who : Glenlyn Ballroom, 1964 — Limited Edition Print
The Who shared the bill with Graham Bond Organisation at the Glenlyn Ballroom, Forest Hill on 23rd and 27th March 1964. Bond's band included Ginger Baker on drums and Jack Bruce on bass — two thirds of what would become Cream in 1966. The Who, still relatively unknown, were months away from their first single 'Zoot Suit' under the short-lived name The High Numbers, and nearly a year from their first chart hit 'I Can't Explain'. The Glenlyn Ballroom, an ornate Art Deco building on Perry Vale, is currently the JK Banqueting Suite.
