Misty in Roots : Gothenburg, 1979 — Limited Edition Print
A British Reggae outfit formed in the crucible of Southall in London, Misty in Roots — alongside Steel Pulse, Aswad and Matumbi — championed a higher critical consciousness rooted in the Rastafari movement. This 1979 concert coincided with their legendary Misty Over Sweden album and their deep involvement in Rock Against Racism, a grass roots movement challenging racism in British society. Always a band with a strong political orientation, their influence resonated far beyond the stage.
