Miles Davis : Göteborg, 1964
A tribute to Miles Davis's electrifying performance in Gothenburg in 1964, during a landmark European tour that captured the trumpeter at a pivotal moment of reinvention. Performing with his celebrated second great quintet — Wayne Shorter on tenor saxophone, Herbie Hancock on piano, Ron Carter on bass, and Tony Williams on drums — Davis brought a new modal language to Swedish audiences that would go on to define a generation of jazz.
