Occupying a sweet spot which few artists attain, Håkan is both a massive commercial success and critically acclaimed artist in Sweden. Inimically connected with Gothenburg — voted 'Gothenburg Citizen of the Year' in 2001 — he continues to work with a host of Gothenburg-based musicians including Soundtrack of Our Lives, Veronica Maggio and the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. A city which forms the backdrop to many of his videos, it is not an overstatement to describe Gothenburg as the muse to Håkan's art.
