Folk Blues Festival : Gothenburg, 1968 — Limited Edition Print

The American Folk Blues Festival toured Europe annually from 1962, introducing audiences to leading blues performers such as Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, John Lee Hooker and Sonny Boy Williamson — most of whom had never previously performed outside the US.  These were pivotal concerts and in the audience of the 1962 UK dates were poeple such as Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones and Jimmy Page. Gothenburg was the third date on the 1968 tour, and Blues continued to exercise considerable influence on the development of Swedish music, particularly in  prog bands such as November, Made in Sweden and Baby Grandmothers.
