Fleetwood Mac : Cue Club, Göteborg, 1969
In 1969 Fleetwood Mac were still in the early days of their journey. Peter Green, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood had recently been augmented by Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan, and the band was just beginning to step away from traditional blues towards more experimental sounds.
The Cue Club was a perfect platform — a beloved venue known for its intimate atmosphere and a hotspot for the evolving rock, blues and psychedelic movements of the late 1960s. It was here that the band began to solidify their identity as a live act, laying the foundation for what would eventually become the colossus of mid-70s Mac.
