Commemorating Dire Straits' performance at Scandinavium, Gothenburg on 20th November 1979, part of the Communiqué Tour. By this point the band were riding international success on the back of “Sultans of Swing” and their second album Communiqué, with Mark Knopfler’s fingerstyle guitar and narrative songwriting setting them apart in an era dominated by punk and disco. Scandinavium, one of Sweden’s largest indoor arenas, provided the perfect stage for a band on the rise.
