Cue Club Riots : Gothenburg, 1966 — Limited Edition Print

Taking place across the weekend of 6th–8th May 1966, the infamous 'Mod Riots' were sparked by the announcement that Gothenburg City Council was unlikely to renew the Cue Club's entertainment licence. Two nights of antagonism between the city's youth and the police ensued — minor damage, a big dose of respectable outrage, and arguably the beginning of youth's direct action against authority in the city.
