The A-side of the initial single features 'You Got Me' by Larry Banks' second wife Jaibi. Dave, who adored the record and included it on his first 'Deep Soul Treasures' CD, said this of it: 'Without Jaibi's magnificent recording 'You Got Me' my life would have been less, and certainly she will always have a special place in my heart and memory because of it.' This recording is the same version as the 45 but with added, very subtle, female backing vocals. It is coupled with the vinyl debut of the Hesitations' sublime vocal group sound 'Gotta Find A Way'.
