Barbara Lynn was born in Texas in 1942, an R&B guitarist and singer-songwriter who was influenced by BB King, Jimmy Reed and Elvis Presley.

She topped the R&B and the US Billboard charts in 1962, and then began to build her a profile to a mainstream audience

Still relevant and active today, she has been sampled by Lil Wayne and Moby with ‘I’m a Good Woman’, The Beastie Boys ‘Poor Old Trashman’

This is the first vinyl compilation in 40 years for this hero of the soul scene, presented on 180g heavyweight classic black vinyl with printed inner sleeve

We grade all vinyl using the Goldmine standard:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.

All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
