What Color? (Vinyl 7")

Before Frankie Beverly and Maze, after Frankie Beverly and The Butlers, there was Raw Soul - a James Brown-esque group of musicians out of Philadelphia. They released four singles, one for Philadelphia's Eldorado Records (Charles Earland's Small Philly Label) and three on Gregar Records out of New York. On this release you have the never before heard alternate version of What Color? (Color Blind) backed with the even more impressive raw soul instrumental version featuring a massive drum break, previously layered with vocals. But because we found the multi-track tapes, we stripped the vocals and let the drums stand solo and hit hard.

Our Grading Standards
We grade all vinyl using the Goldmine standard:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.

All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
