Originally released in 1974, Lamont Dozier’s iconic Invictus album features the huge hits ‘Why Can’t We Be Lovers’, ‘Don’t Leave Me’ and ‘New Breed Kinda Woman’. Demon Records are proud to reissue this classic on blue marble vinyl for Record Store Day 2024. The package is complete with original artwork and printed inner sleeve which includes an extensive liner note by Tony Rounce. Lamont Dozier is the Grammy Award winning song writer, part of the legendary team Holland-Dozier-Holland, who helped define the Motown sound and split from the label in 1967. An essential addition to anyone’s vinyl collection.

Our Grading Standards
We grade all vinyl using the Goldmine standard:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.

All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
