Most recent converts to the world of Ned Doheny discovered his genius via Hard Candy or Prone. Our introduction was by way of "Postcards From Hollywood", a cult song from his stunning, self-titled debut album. Beautifully poignant, it can only be found on said LP. And whilst his later albums are rightly revered, "Postcards..." - and the 9 additional tracks that comprise this exceptional opening statement - represent a criminally overlooked gem.
