Making Music (Vinyl LP)

Withers' fourth studio album Making Music was originally released in 1975 on Columbia Records. It possesses the same down-to-earthiness and eye for ordinary day life as his former work. The overall sound is smoother than his previous albums, with a warm mellow soul sound that can't be beat. The album includes his classic Hello Like Before, plus The Best You Can, Make Love To Your Mind, Paint Your Pretty Picture, and Don't You Want To Stay?. The album features a whos who of great musicians and singers including David Walker, Ray Parker JR, Melvin "wah wah" Ragin, bassist James Jamerson, Ernie Watts and Ralph Macdonald.

Our Grading Standards
We grade all vinyl using the Goldmine standard:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.

All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
