Lionel Richie (Vinyl LP)

Alongside co-producer James Anthony Carmichael, whom he had previously worked with while in the Commodores, Richie crafted the template for his Eighties success via the emotional weight behind the chart-topping ballad "Truly", the upbeat horn-driven accents on the chorus of "You Are", and the overall vocal panache on "My Love", which also featured background vocals from a favoured collaborator, Kenny Rogers. (Richie wrote Rogers's massive 1980 #1 crossover hit, "Lady"). Certified quadruple-platinum in Canada and Platinum in the U.K, this is your 80's pop soul guity pleasure.

Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.

All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
