Sweden’s second city, many consider Gothenburg the first in terms of music. Home of The Spotnicks, a band which at it’s peak in the 1960s were international stars out selling The Shadows, to the celebrated home of Doom metal and rock from In Flames, Hammerfall, Hardcore Superstar, At the Gates, Dark Tranquility and Graveyard, to the Indie sound of The Soundtrack of Our Lives, El Perro del Mar, Broder Daniel, Whyte Seeds, Håkan Hellström and Jens Lekman, to the electronica of The Knife, Studio and Little Dragon,  to the unadulterated pop of Ace of Base, for a small city it’s always packed a fearsome musical punch.
