Part of the ‘Exodus’ Tour in 1977, these European concerts showcased their groundbreaking Exodus LP. Commencing on May 10, 1977, and concluded on June 4, 1977, it spanned 15 dates across 8 countries. Notably, the tour was cut short due to a serious toe injury Marley sustained during a football match with French journalists, leading to the cancellation of the planned U.S. leg. An apocryphal incident, this which would contribute to Bob’s early death and the loss of one of the Universes’ most distinctive voices.
The Gothenburg setlist included iconic tracks such as "Rebel Music," "Burnin' and Lootin'," "No Woman, No Cry," "Jamming," and "Exodus" and tour played a crucial role in solidifying Bob Marley & The Wailers' reputation as one of the leading reggae bands of the 1970s, showcasing their dynamic performances and expanding their international fanbase.
