Varmints (Vinyl LP)

The follow-up to 2012's Black Prince Fury EP, and 2013's Jet Black Raider EP, Scottish composer Anna Meredith's debut full length Varmints is released via Moshi Moshi. The record is called Varmints because these songs represent ideas she could not shake off, a welcome infestation of "musical pests." Varmints is grand in its own way, a record of unusual scope and power, perfectly blending Meredith's love of big brush strokes with her eye for the devastating detail. Meredith manages to cloak high-minded experimentalism in playful pop sensibilty. For fans of Holly Herndon, Kate Bush, Arthur Russell and Modern Classical.

Our Grading Standards
We grade all vinyl using the Goldmine standard:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.

All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
