Valerie And Her Week Of Wonders - Original Soundtrack By Luboš Fišer (Vinyl LP)

It has been exactly ten years since Finders Keepers Records first liberated Lubos Fiser’s immaculate soundtrack music for Valerie And Her Week Of Wonders (Valerie A Týden Divu) from the vaults of the Barrandov Studio in Prague. Dark and delicately haunting sacred score to Jaromil Jires' essential Eastern European hallucinogenic-baroque-witch-flick Valerie And Her Week Of Wonders. Lubos Fiser provides what is perhaps the greatest musical score of all the maligned Czech New Wave feature-films with a gossamer-fragile blend of pastoral-orchestral folk songs and clockwork harpsichords.

Previously unprepared for public consumption the immaculate release has been compiled in close accordance to the original storyline which was released in 1935 as a surrealist novel by Vladislav Nezval. The orchestral suites of music have been separated into 23 chapters with titles derived from the controversial novella. Beautifully remastered from the original studio tapes with updated liner notes. Housed in two sleeve designs (Cover A / Cover B) based on the original theatrical posters.

Our Grading Standards
We grade all vinyl using the Goldmine standard:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.

All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
