Unity (Vinyl LP)

Until the emergence of Larry Young the Hammond B3 organ tradition was firmly rooted in Soul Jazz, but Young brought a new perspective to the instrument by placing it in an adventurous Post-Bop context. His 1965 masterpiece Unity featured a cast of modern jazz masters with Woody Shaw on trumpet, Joe Henderson on saxophone, and Elvin Jones on drums.

LP - This Blue Note Classic Vinyl Edition is stereo, all-analog, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.

Our Grading Standards
We grade all vinyl using the Goldmine standard:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.

All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
