There Was A Time (Vinyl LP)

One of the founding fathers of Chicago soul, Gene Chandler recorded for almost every label of note in the City, and made great records wherever he went. The best is his frenetic version of James Brown’s There Was A Time, which is the title track of this magnificent album. A Hit making Producer, this is his 1968 album reissued by Demon Music on 180 Gram Heavyweight Vinyl with printed inner sleeve and original artwork.

Our Grading Standards
We grade all vinyl using the Goldmine standard:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.

All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
