This exclusive print commemorates a defining moment in Swedish music history, The Beatles' electrifying performance at Lorensbergs Cirkus in Gothenburg on October 27, 1963. As part of their inaugural Swedish tour, this concert marked a pivotal chapter in the band's rise to international fame.
The Beatles performed three shows at 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 7:00 PM, the only venue during their Swedish tour where they played three concerts in a single day. The group travelled approximately 500 kilometres from Stockholm in a single car, with their equipment following in another vehicle. They were joined on stage by two notable support acts, Trio Me' Bumba, a Swedish group known for their energetic performances and Ken Levy and The Phantoms, an English band that added to the vibrant atmosphere of the evening.
The set included highlights from their debut eponymous LP, their new ‘With the Beatles’ album, along with hit singles such as ‘She Loves You’ and ‘From Me To You.’ A high-energy performance featuring classics that defined the music of the early 1960s.
