Drag-Strip tested! A fantastic West Coast rarity, Rev-Up is a mono masterpiece filled with harmony-laden hot rod vocals and powerhouse instrumentals! Originally issued in January 1964, Rev-Up is waxed wildly by genre-legends such as Steve Douglas, Bruce Johnston, Jerry Cole & other studio kingpins including Hal Blaine, Glen Campbell, Tommy Tedesco, Leon Russell, and more—a Wrecking Crew who's who! Appearing here in the valued mono mix—copies routinely sell for hundreds of dollars—Rev-Up is a gasser of a record, with Johnston hot off his recent hit with "Hey Little Cobra," ready to rumble with the cream of the hot rod club. Tracks from this album also appeared briefly on another '60s car-themed collection, but this is the premier set of mixes and tracks for this set of sessions, featuring the lone single issued in '63 as the Vettes, "Little Ford Ragtop" backed with "Happy Hodaddy (With Ragtop Caddy)." This little deuce is guaranteed to leave skid marks!!!

Our Grading Standards
We grade all vinyl using the Goldmine standard:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.

All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
