Motor City Scene (Vinyl LP)

MOTOR CITY SCENE, also released as Stardust, by American saxophonist PEPPER ADAMS and trumpeter DONALD BYRD, was recorded in 1960 and released on the Bethlehem label. Donald Byrd and Pepper Adams-and their ace band, including Kenny Burrell, Tommy Flanagan & Paul Chambers-deliver what is one of the finest performances of "Stardust" you'll ever hear on this album. And that's just the first track; this is Donald Byrd hitting his first peak, and summoning a band behind him that was formidable, and deft.

Our Grading Standards
We grade all vinyl using the Goldmine standard:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.

All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
