Meet You At The Jazz Corner Of The World (Volume 1) (Vinyl LP)

The legendary NYC jazz club Birdland was sacred ground for drummer Art Blakey who recorded three live albums for Blue Note at the venue between 1954 and 1960: A Night at Birdland, At the Jazz Corner of the World, and Meet You At The Jazz Corner of the World. This last date featured one of the greatest lineups of Blakey's powerhouse outfit The Jazz Messengers: Lee Morgan on trumpet, Wayne Shorter on tenor saxophone, Bobby Timmons on piano, and Jymie Merritt on bass. Spirits are high on this superb outing from the iconic introduction by MC Pee Wee Marquette through two volumes of thrilling hard-bop.

We grade all vinyl using the Goldmine standard:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.

All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
