Hot Barbeque (Vinyl LP)

Made when he was just a budding jazz guitarist, and a short time before his big jazz debut on Columbia, these sides offer the opportunity to hear a great jazz talent, long before he found the international pop-jazz-entertainer fame of Breezin' and White Rabbit. The drummer is McDuff's regular percussionist Joe Dukes, the saxophonist Red Holloway and this quartet were a hard, swinging mainstream-modern outfit with a strong, gospel vein that lets you know that their music has roots.

Our Grading Standards
We grade all vinyl using the Goldmine standard:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.

All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
