Greatest Jamaican Beat (Vinyl LP)

Throughout the brief, yet spectacularly creative rock steady era of the mid-to-late Sixties, the productions of Arthur 'Duke' Reid dominated Jamaica's musical landscape, with the larger than life former policeman releasing hit after hit on his celebrated Treasure Isle, Dutchess and Trojan labels. Whilst at the height of his success he also issued arguably the finest Jamaican- produced album of the period, Greatest Jamaican Beat, a 12 track collection showcasing some of the most talented and popular acts on his roster. It includes The Paragons, The Techniques, The Melodians, The Jamaicans, Phyllis Dillon and more.

Our Grading Standards
We grade all vinyl using the Goldmine standard:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.

All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
