Sonny Boy Williamson, the singer and harmonica player, was one of the best blues musicians of all time. His earthy yet elegant approach was as distinctive as it was irresistible. This edition of his 1959 debut album, enriched with 2 classic bonus tracks, is a perfect showcase for the famous musician. Ever since he appeared on the famous King Biscuit Time radio show in 1941, Williamson was a sensation, as his dynamics and soulful execution were second to none. At the peak of his powers, Williamson's swinging, evocative style is ideally supported by such famous accompanists as Muddy Waters, pianist Otis Spann and bassist/composer Willie Dixon - a stellar summit of blues talent whose combined impact and authority qualify these tracks as some of the best in the genre.

We grade all vinyl using the Goldmine standard:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.

All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
