The tenor sax legends 1961 Blue Note debut. Recorded at the Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, on 6th May 1961. A rebirth for the jazz icon after a decade in which drug addiction and legal troubles limited his output. Featuring a top-flight quintet including trumpeter Freddie Hubbard, pianist Horace Parlan, bassist George Tucker and drummer Al Harewood. Showcasing bluesy hard-bop originals like Society Red and also a famous take on the ballad Youve Changed. The classic cover was designed by Reid Miles and photographed by Francis Wolff.

We grade all vinyl using the Goldmine standard:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.
All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
