Catalyst (Vinyl LP)

The funkiest Band you've never heard - are more talked about than listened too. But most jazz listeners have heard the mighty tenor of Odean Pope as an integral part of Max Roach's great 1980s bands, the underrated and under-recorded keyboardist Eddie Green who played with the Philly toppers, MSFB and Three Degrees, and the redoubtable drummer Sherman Ferguson how worked with Bud Shank, Kenny Burrell and Pharoah Sanders.

This, their eyponomous 1972 LP, packs all the Jazz Funk Fusion punch you'd imagine from such a stellar line-up of players.

Our Grading Standards
We grade all vinyl using the Goldmine standard:
Mint (M): Perfect, unplayed condition.
Near Mint (NM): Nearly perfect with minimal signs of handling.
Very Good Plus (VG+): Shows light signs of play but plays with minimal surface noise. The most common grade for collectable vinyl.
Very Good (VG): Noticeable marks and some surface noise, but still an enjoyable listen.
Good (G): Heavy wear — for collectors only.

All records are graded visually and by play. Media and sleeve are graded separately.
